Hello Again! It’s me! So for today’s 21 Days of Halloween Countdown I wanted to mention some great TV shows that you can either start watching, or catch up on, or continue watching to get in the Halloween Spirit.

In recent years there have been a ton of new awesome Paranormal TV shows that have come out. You can literally find just about anything between network tv, cable, Netflix and Amazon. Here are a few that are guaranteed to scare you or entertain you or both!

The Number One best Halloween style TV show to watch, and one of my person favorites, Supernatural. This show has just about everything in it! If there is a paranormal creature out there, they’ve had it on the show. If it hasn’t been on the show – It doesn’t exist. The show creators continue to come up with awesome ideas every week. And Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki have some of the best brotherly chemistry you will ever find on tv.

Next, The Walking Dead. Zombies have never been so popular as they have been in this show. It has been one of the highest grossing shows in the last five year. I am constantly surprised by people who are so addicted to it. It really is a great show with an awesome ensemble cast that is constantly changing. Because, well, it’s the zombie apocalypse, people die.

An oldie, but one of the best shows around is still Buffy the Vampire Slayer. If you haven’t seen Buffy you haven’t seen Joss Whedon at his earliest and some of his best! This show has it all. Teen angst. Vampires, werewolves, demons, witches, zombies, Vampire Slayers, more sexy vampires, you name it. This show is tons of fun and is still a cult classic and well worth watching over and over.

Haven is like a mix of Supernatural and Eureka. There are tons of supernatural beings with lots of different powers but they all live in the same town and there is one Super Supernatural cop who is trying to solve all the problems. But she’s stuck right in the middle with her own mystery. It’s pretty cool. And again, there are some hot guys.

Now, I liked the first few seasons of Vampire Diaries, but I got a bit bored with it when Eliana turned into a vampire. However, Originals is a whole thousand times better! I REALLY love The Originals. Elijah is the sexiest vampire out there. Seriously he’s hot! And Klaus is just my kind of crazy. Jackson is a man I could learn to love with his strong kindness. And all together, along with Rebecca and the other Michaelsons, even dear old dad, I think the family is fascinating. And very well done.

The biggie, that has also become somewhat of a cult classic is American Horror Story. These guys know how to scare people! Every season is different. Mostly the same cast but all new characters and stories. In recent seasons we are seeing how they all tie together. So we are now in our sixth season and I have seen the first five. I can honestly say that season one Murder House, was my favorite. It’s about a haunted house. Coven was my next favorite season, about witches. And HOLY CRAP Kathy Bates character in that season is the sickest person I’ve ever seen! Asylum was okay. There was a lot of things that had me scratching my head. Freakshow was a season I wanted to love so badly! But due to the second have of the season being about someone other than the freaks, I found myself only continuing to watch to find out who didn’t die in the end. Hotel was… not my cup of tea. This last season had a lot of things that were just boring to me. I got tired of seeing Lady Gaga in bed covered in blood almost naked except for pasties and underwear. I did however, like the twist they threw in the middle. And Mathew Bomer was great. All in all, if you want to be scared, American Horror Story is a great series to watch.

Lastly, The Amazon Series Hemlock Grove is a good one is you are looking for a crazy brain twist of a show. Famke Janssen and Bill Skarsgård are insanely good! The twists in the show are creepy and wild and will have you asking, what the heck?? And the werewolf shifting scene in season one is the grossest thing I’ve ever seen in my life! So if you want a great show, this is it.

So there ya go! Some great TV shows to get you in the mood for Halloween. Have you seen these? Do you like them? Do you have other shows you like better? Let me know so I can see them too!
