How does your writing impact your inner life?
Uhm…I’m not sure. I think it makes me take a deeper look at things. For instance when I am in a situation where I feel a deep emotion, I’ll analyze it more. What sensations are going through my mind? Through my body? What do I feel? Then I catalog those things to use at a later date in my writing. I don’t do it always, but I do it a lot. If I see a sunset, I try and put into words that describe it. What does something smell like. Things like that.
How do you hope your books affect your readers?
I hope it gives them a good read and an escape for a while. I hope that they can find something that they identify with and possibly helps them in some way. I don’t really write for a deeper reason than that I really want to give people a good read that they can enjoy.
Has anyone ever told you your book changed their life? If so, how?
No. I don’t ever except them to really. I write paranormal romance, I’d be surprised if my books did change someone’s life. Maybe someday, if there’s a zombie apocalypse someone might. That’d be cool!
