GLOSSARY
Coven Lord – The ruling governor over a given area.
Human – Anyone person born of two human parents who wasn’t mutated by the V2000 virus. Those of pure human blood who were born human and have not been turned into vampyr.
Minion – A Vampire servant, assistant or companion, who has both rights and a salary.
Rogue Syndrome – A degrading disease similar to syphilis that causes vamps to go insane with bloodlust.
Slave – A human in the service of a Vampire or vampyr who is not paid and is bought and sold like property.
Slavers – Vampires and vampyr who hunt down humans and sell them to the highest bidder.
The High Council – The Society governing body. Made up of representatives from every country, the High Council is the law. Members of the High Council are over 1000 years of age and rule from their place of power in Romania.
Three Kings – The Three Kings of America govern all of the Coven Lords and answer only to The High Council.
Tracking Squad – The police of the Vampire World. The Trackers are the highest trained Vampires and vampyr available for hire.
Vamp – Once human, now mutated by the V2000 virus, they are a vampire subspecies and the grunt workers of the Vampire Society. Gray of skin and black blooded they eat human food and can walk during the daylight.
Vampire (vamp—ire) – A pureblooded Vampire who is born a Vampire. They are the royalty of The Society that now run the world.
Vampyr (vamp—eer) – A lesser member of the Vampire Society. Vampyr are not born Vampires. They were once humans that have been bitten, or are the offspring of one human parent and one Vampire parent.
