So Tameri:
What is your Latest Obsession? Making swag! I’m obsessed with what all the groovy details of making pendants, book marks, ornaments, crazy things that you wouldn’t normally think of. I have this sweet teacup dragon logo and I put that on everything. I’m pretty sure it’s driving my husband a bit nuts.
Who is your Secret Crush? My Sweet Nathan Fillion and My Sweet Chris Hemsworth. Although, they really aren’t so secret.
Shoes? Purses? or Jewelry? Yes, yes, and yes. Except, I had major foot reconstruction five years ago, so heels are out. I’ve made it my life’s pursuit to find cute, comfy shoes that don’t wreck my foot.
Coffee? Tea? Hot chocolate? Or something else? Tea. Always.
What was your Best Vacation Ever? It’s always the next one I’m planning. Every vacation is amazing, but the best one is the one you most look forward to.
Favorite Music to Write to? I love writing to classical, movie soundtracks, and angsty, moody music. Snow Patrol, Blue October, Of Monsters and Men, that kind of music.
One food item grosses you out to eat? Anything slimy. Like, escargot or calamari. Blech!
Some say she’s the one of prophecy,
that she’ll bring balance to the world.
Others say she’s the destroyer,
meant to bring an end to Aelinae.
They’re both right.
Everything Taryn knew was a lie. Her life on Earth, the man she thought was her grandfather, even her age, were all fabrications meant to protect her, to keep her hidden until she could return to her home world. Once on Aelinae, Taryn realizes she has more to fear than the creeping darkness that threatens to suffocate her.
Unwilling to become a pawn in the machinations of her scheming family and the world she now calls home, Taryn sets out to learn about her mysterious powers. Reluctantly, she accepts the help of Rhoane, a man who promises to protect her, but whom she’s not sure she can trust.
As tensions mount and her loved ones are threatened, Taryn must confront an ancient enemy and stop a sinister plan to bring back a banished god.
On Aelinae they say there can be no Light without Dark and no darkness without light. If Taryn fails, there will be only Blackness. Absolute. Binding. Without end.
Failure is simply not an option.
